PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMIT
Permanent residence permit (in polish “ Karta Pobytu na czas nieokreślony”) is allowance for constant living in Poland. It is issued for 5 or 10 years if there are evidences for staying in Poland available. Drawing up the documents and delivery the documents takes place in Poland in the District government (Urząd Wojewódzki). .
Reasons for submission for a Permanent Residence permit can be the following:
- studying at the university in Poland;
- registration of private business;
- company purchase;
- legal employment;
- marriage with a citizen of Poland.
After receiving a Permanent residence permit, you will have the following advantages:
- you can cross the border as many times as possible;
- you have a right to stay in Poland within the period your permanent residence permit allows;
- you can travel within European Union without any visas;
- you can legally work in Poland without extra documents;
- it is allowed to purchase real estate or a car;
- you can establish your own business;
- you can obtain a credit in a bank.
Permanent residence permit is the last stage to getting a citizenship of Poland.
